Drivers, Woods, and More Keep Getting Better

The Game of Golf has most certainly changed throughout the years. Well, not so much the game, but the Golf Clubs and Accessories available sure have. I remember when I first started playing Golf, decades ago. The only thing metal about our Golf Clubs were the Golf Irons and of course your putter. A very excellent Golf Driver was made of persimmons wood. And Fairway Woods were exactly that, Woods. Hybrid Irons? What’s that? Fairway Metal? Come on now. Back then we considered a 250 yard drive huge. Now, heck, these guys are hitting them out to 400 yards or more. A 300 yard drive for a pro is not just a standard but it’s nearly expected. Hitting the long ball has taken on a whole new meaning. My Dad and I play together as often as we can. We live in different parts of the country so it is not as often as we would like. But I can reckon of a number of occasions when we both hit fantastic tee shots. My Dad would say “yours was youth, mine was technology. ” Youth? Dad I’m pushing fifty now. I could use some of that help too. Titanium Drivers with Graphite Shafts customized to fit your swing, various lofts available for each and every Golf Club, sixty degree Golf Wedges that just about throw the ball straight up in the air, and yet we still cannot par every hole. I know HOW to make excellent shots. But even the pros mess up a round now and then. You just have to keep coming back! No matter how much better we make the Golf Clubs and how much technology allows us to refine our game, it is still just that, a game. Scores are getting lower every year. Courses are getting longer. Hole are more and more challenging. Golf Clubs are being manufactured with such forgiveness that is hard not to hit a terrible shot. But Golf is a game. And no matter what changes take place it is still up to us, the Golfers, to swing the Golf Clubs and make the shots. I like this game! I hope you have loved reading this as much as I have loved writing it. I would also like to invite you to visit one of our websites to see an array of Golf Clubs and Accessories at discounted prices.
